The art of creating a narrative with images.

It is particularly important for me to find out more of a phenomenon, especially if a topic is still somewhat unknown to me, or if I haven't had much contact with the subject yet. That means I research certain topics in advance, for example to be able to ask the right questions in an interview situation. Exploring the specific subject areas also helps to get a profound perspective during filming and this allows for precise depictions during the workflow.

During the filming it is a special process - there are many cornerstones and plans that have been discussed with the protagonists, but the state of filming is one of discovery. While I'm handling the camera through space and time, the view through the camera is different than without it. I'm constantly on the lookout for the moments filled with meaning, with feelings, with tension, with emotion, with information and many more. You're looking for a meaningful moment that underscores your story and makes your narrative understandable. Like a poet, I film line by line and at the end try to create a poem in which the rhyme reflects the rhythm of the image.

After the filming comes the actual part of the big reunion. From here my knowledge, my previous experience, the cooperation with the protagonists, the collection of footage and the technical know-how are combined into one big whole. All previous processes are now brought into a visible form by the creator and his focused view.

The distribution of the created videos is not random. Target groups and opportunities should be determined. Through previous activities, it is definitely possible to be able to present your content on various platforms in a large networking area. Public spheres and events, as well as broadcasting on TV, or also in the sense of an online presence are possible.
